“Back then, I used to paint on New York subways. All the time. One day, I painted my leather jacket. My friends loved it, they asked for more of them. I was thrilled to see them wearing my paintings.”

Almost thirty years later, Lamothe comes back with a new take on his series of painted jackets.
Designed for the paintings to become a wearable work of art, the painted Levi’s denim jackets are his ultimate move to give power and unlock the potential of people who see themselves in the fantastic vivid world Lamothe has created.
